Made entirely of woven rattan over an internal wooden frame, this piece is distinguished by the quality of its craftsmanship: large, delicately curved ears, an elegantly curled trunk, and a body encircled by a decorative twisted frieze typical of Italian design from this period. The entire piece rests on a rectangular base that accentuates its sculptural appearance.

The circular top allows it to be used as a side table, end table, or small decorative table, while maintaining a strong aesthetic presence. A true conversation piece, this rattan elephant embodies the exotic and refined spirit of 1970s design.

The piece has been repainted by a previous owner and shows some minor signs of wear, attesting to its history and authenticity.
