The image depicts the Virgin with the Child Jesus seated on her lap, both wearing crowns. The Child is depicted blessing the viewer, holding a flower in his other hand. The iconography of the Madonna and Child, both crowned, became widespread only from the 16th century onwards, although the theme of the Madonna enthroned was already widespread earlier, as was her Coronation. The painting has been restored and relined in the past. It is presented in an 18th-century wooden frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
