Italian Marble Table Lamp Table lamp, 1970s. Classically shaped table lamp crafted in white marble with an elegant profiled base and baluster-shaped body. The matte, natural stone surface gives the lamp a timeless and refined appearance. Origin: Italy. Material: Marble. Dimensions: H. 33 cm, D. 9 cm. Period: 1970s. Condition: Good condition with minor age-related wear; small natural marble fissure at the lower base. Marble lamps became popular interior pieces in the 1960s and 70s, when natural materials and classical silhouettes returned to favour. Italian marble was especially valued for its quality and craftsmanship, and many lamps from this era blend traditional workmanship with a modern decorative aesthetic.
