An exceptional and very rare matching pair of mid 18th century George III, Chippendale period flamed mahogany tray-top bedside commodes. It is extremely uncommon to find an original pair of bedside cabinet commodes from this period, making these pieces particularly desirable for collectors and interior designers alike.
Each commode features a finely pierced galleried tray top with carrying handles above a single drawer, beautifully figured mahogany cupboard doors and canted corners.
