The Artistry:
This masterwork features the iconic "Saxon Flower" (Saksisk Blomst) pattern—a hallmark of Royal Copenhagen’s 19th-century botanical excellence. Each floral spray is a unique, hand-painted composition, framed by intricate reticulated openwork (lattice-work) that beautifully catches the light. The piece is elevated by ornate neoclassical handles and a scalloped rim, all finished in hand-applied gold leaf.

This is the grand upper bowl portion of a traditional two-part pedestal compote. While "divorced" from its original base, it remains a breathtaking standalone low-profile centerpiece or a rare replacement for a collector.
