This impressive large-scale ceramic sculpture features a beautifully balanced organic form with dramatic reduction-fired surfaces displaying iridescent copper, charcoal, slate blue, smoky gray, and subtle metallic highlights. The original fitted lid is crowned with a distinctive spiral finial, completing the vessel’s striking sculptural silhouette.

The base is incised with the artist’s signature, “Tamerlane Burnell.”
