This is a contemporary designer piece rather than a vintage one, though it is heavily inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics. It is part of Jonathan Adler’s "Glass Menagerie" Collection, which features various animals characterized by their minimalist forms and matte-meets-glossy finishes. This specific bud vase was handmade in Peru using high-fired stoneware, featuring a textured "sgraffito" fur pattern and vibrant yellow glazed accents. Measures 6”x4.5”.

Please note: Features the authentic incised 'Peru' mark on the base and the original Jonathan Adler boutique sticker. Also from an earlier, more artisanal run, as current Menagerie pieces are often produced in different regions and lack the same handmade feel. Circa 2005. Now retired.

I've updated the listing, after a bit more research on this specific retired Peruvian piece, I realized I had it priced a bit low for the current collector market. See less
