Yuri Gorbachev


Gorbachev revels in the work of Picasso, whose influence often surfaces in his work. Yuri's work is represented in more than twenty museums in the former Soviet Union, the United States, and Europe, including the Louvre in Paris. He has been recognized internationally since 1972, wit numberous one-man shows throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the United States. His work is also included in the private collections of Marcello Mastrioanni, The Baroness Dunn of Hong Kong, Michel Roux, Milkhail Barishnikov, Eduard Sheverdnaze and Mikhail Gorbachev, among others. In August of 1995, Gorbachev was elected to become one of the elite honorary members of the world renown Masaryk's Academy of Arts in Prague. See less
