inspired by swedish design, reminiscent of the work of goran malmvall, among others.
this set was created by a cabinetmaker in the 1950s for a cat in megève.
we love the clean lines and the graphic design touches of the set.
the table, with its thick, grained pine top, is very large and wide with beveled edges. Its slightly oval shape gives it a very distinctive look.
the entire piece rests on a thick, cross-shaped base with a central brace for added sturdiness. The joints are very elegantly crafted, showcasing fine cabinetmaking skills. Two sliding cleats on each side can accommodate extensions, allowing the table to reach a length of 280cm. The thick tabletop gives the set a certain quality. The table's luminous golden hue and pronounced grain give it a unique charm.

eight chairs accompany this large table. Also inspired by mountain furniture, each chair features a slim, relatively high seat with three graphic cutouts. The seat is wide and comfortable, resting on tapered, flared legs.

like the table, the color, grain, and thickness of the wood make these chairs high-quality pieces.
the set has retained its beautiful original patina and is in excellent condition. Some imperfections, marks, variations in color, and minor signs of wear may be present, which are inherent to its age and previous life. Please refer to the numerous photos.
