Rare Art Nouveau Karl Sterrer 'Aurora' Copper Repousse, All Original, c.1900.
Acquired in Belgrade, Serbia in Eastern Europe. Aurora is the sun goddess, depicted here in full high repouse radiating and hovering above the heaven's with her flaming torch raised out in her outstretched hand above her head, bringing the morning. With Cherubs around her and a cornucopia of flowers beneath her feet. The moon setting beneath her.
With a Wonderful rich and unaltered original Venetian finish and patina. With the original frame with foundry stamp and backing as it was produced.
In Excellent all original condition.
