Title: Two Cossacks on Horseback, bronze sculpture.

Description: Mid and dark brown patina finely cast and chiselled bronze sculpture depicts a young Kossack couple on horseback, inclined naturalistic base, signed lower left, finished at base with an oval shape green marble plinth, placard titled "DOWN THE STEPPES BY GRETHOFF", brown felt adhered to lower base.
Dimensions: Overall (with base): 14in. H x 9.5in. W x 7in. D. Condition: Very good; nice patina, to be expected fine scratches (nothing observed to mention), a few insignificant surface spots (more prominent at lower base above plinth; see images), just a couple of small nicks detected at rear center and side above placard (upper edge of plinth), overall a fine work of the period).
