Vintage Black Forest mounted deer antlers, c.1940
A large pair of antlers mounted on a large decorative carved wood shield. . The wood shield is good example from the Black Forest region in Germany, having carved oak leaves and acorns and branches encompassing the top section. There is a plaque to the base, dated December ‘40 .
A good looking and good condition set of antlers with hanging bracket on rear.
