The shoulder transitions into a formal ruyi collar border, and a repeating geometric band anchors the base. The domed lid is decorated with a radiating petal pattern and crowned with a pointed finial knob.
The base bears a four-character seal mark reading 大清乾隆 (Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi — “Made in the Qianlong period of the Great Qing”), a reign mark spanning 1735–1796. As is common with Chinese export and later decorative porcelain, this mark was frequently used as a mark of quality and aspiration rather than strict dating, and this piece is consistent with 20th-century reproduction examples in that tradition.
The unglazed foot rim shows natural age and wear consistent with use and display over time. Lid fits securely. No chips or cracks noted. Two small pinhole imperfections noted on the interior rim of the lid — consistent with period firing and not visible when displayed.
