Conceived and executed by Susan Pfeffer and Erin Casioppo, the book pairs original intaglio or relief prints with letterpress-set original poetry on deckle-edge handmade paper. Works include titled pieces like "Skinny," "Perfection," "Defect," "Money," "Age," "Cicada," and others. They are unified by themes of body, hunger, and domestic life. The prints are bold, expressionistic figurative compositions in black and white. Bound in a hinged brass panel cover with brass hardware. Signed by both artists on the handwritten colophon.
