Vintage mid-century wardrobe/armoire made in the U.K. by White & Newton, circa 1960s. Ideal as a freestanding closet for a home lacking hanging space, this handsome piece features three full-length doors, teak veneer, and solid afromosia (African teak) trim and handles. The left and center doors open to reveal full-length hanging space, along with some later-added hooks. The right door opens to a pair of lower shelves with 36" of hanging space above.

The finish has some variation in tone, with lighter and darker areas, as well as a few marks. Inside the left-facing door, there appears to be a prior repair at the interior base. It was only noticeable upon close inspection with a flashlight and does not detract from the piece. The doors operate smoothly. less
