We are offering this 19th Century German landscape painting of a waterfall. This painting features an alpine scene with large waterfall, it is signed lower left by the artist Franz Ormann. The back has old label identifying the falls as “Gollinger Wasserfall” in Austria along with the painter as Professor Franz Ormann. Probably painted in the late 19th or early 20th century.
Condition: Some surface wear with some paint loss and flaking along the lower portion of the painting. Wear to the frame.
