Bio: A native of Covington, Carol received her B.A. in Art from Queens College in North Carolina.
She continued her studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and at the University of Georgia Art School.
She has participated in various workshops, including several with Joe Perrin, head of the Georgia State University art department, emeritus.
She has been the Artist in Residence in 5 Newton County Elementary schools.
Carol owned and operated for 13 years the Upstairs Art Studio in Covington.
She more recently owned the Van Go's Studio for 4 years representing 90 artists.
Carol works in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, found objects, murals, restorations and collage. Carol's works are widely collected by individuals and businesses. She has the distinction of one of her paintings in the permanent collection at a Georgia Museum. See less
