Lovely vintage Japanese monochrome watercolor scroll painting "Duck", signed and sealed by artist. In Japanese culture ducks are associated with good fortune and positive energy. Watercolor and ink on paper. Beautifully mounted on silk. Bone style roller ends. Paper on back. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1940-1950s. Very Good condition - some age wear overall, minor foxing, missing one roller end cup, clean. This scroll can be trimmed and framed.
