Tall heavy art-glass vase designed by Fulvio Bianconi, Murano Italy 1960s.
Hand blown glass vase in amazing design, vibrant ruby red, opaline lining and strokes of deep cobalt yellow and white glass, floral shaped opening when viewed from above. The chromatic composition combines superimposed layers of deep cobalt blue, bright yellow
the sculptural form, enhanced by the optical depth created by the glass thickness, gives the piece a contemporary sculptural presence, representative of Fulvio Bianconi’s late research for Venini.
Wonderful example in excellent condition.
