Lalique's signature contrast between the three-dimensional satin-finished birds and brilliantly polished crystal background adds depth to the avian figures, with the interplay between surfaces creates a fluid sense of movement.

The incised signature 'Lalique ® France’ on the bottom, as well as sticker with product number: 12308 (1230800).

Standing at 9.75”, with 6.5” diameter, the timeless artistry of the Martinets vase makes it a commanding statement piece of French Art Deco-style crystal at its finest.

This piece was designed in 1982 by Marie-Claude Lalique—the granddaughter of founder René Lalique, a pioneer of the Art Deco movement whose aesthetic came to define the style.

Purchased in 1986 and cared for by the original owner for nearly four decades, this vase is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, or repairs. Faint scratches on the underside that show light shelf wear consistent with age, aren’t visible unless the piece is turned over.
Note: Lint can be seen in the photos and smudges of dirt left in few places that could appear to be blemishes – These flecks are not in crystal.
