I love red roofs and was attracted right away to the buildings in the distance from where I was set up painting with my late husband and my plein air group from California. I now live in Reno, NV but my memories of this day are with me still. It was very windy and chilly and we were all bundled up to stay warm.

This painting was set aside for a few years and just about two weeks ago, I finally put the finishing touches on this painting and am happy with it.

Since I recently finished this painting, I am putting a year of 2021 on it, but it was begun the year my husband passed away, 2017.
