A 2005 studio pottery sculpture by American ceramicist Anne Hirrondelle (born 1944). This organic sculpture is composed of two white, cup-like structures balanced on top of each other. There is a slit that runs down the middle of each cups. The sculpture is signed and dated to the interior of the lower piece.
Born in Vancouver, WA, Anne Hirondelle received a BA in English from the University of Puget Sound and MA in counseling from Stanford University. While studying to become a lawyer, Hirondelle pivoted to pursue a career in studio arts. She went on to have her work exhibited in shows in New York City to Los Angeles to Seattle.
