This medium Ball Bubble Pendant was produced by Modernica of Los Angeles — the sole authorized American manufacturer of the Nelson Bubble Lamp series from 1999 to 2016 — using the original Howard Miller tooling and methods unchanged from the lamp's 1952 introduction.

The shade is hand-formed polymer sprayed over a steel wire armature, producing the series' signature soft, glare-free glow. The medium Ball is the most versatile form in the collection — equally at home over a dining table, in an entryway, or anchoring a bedroom or living space.
Hardware is brushed nickel-plated cast aluminum with the original Modernica manufacturer's label intact (FILE#E189517, Modernica Los Angeles). Hardwired with pigtail leads ready for direct ceiling box connection. Rated 150W, UL listed.

This is a legitimate American-made piece from the Modernica production window (1999–2016), not a Chinese import reproduction. The Bubble Lamp collection is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. See less
