Each panel features a abstracted landscape scene with a green-blue sky, mountains in the backdrop and an orange and green field. Unframed, each panel is signed to the bottom right, marked "one" and "two."

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
