1950s oak desk, model ND93, designed by Nanna Ditzel for Søren Willadsen, Denmark, with four front drawers.
The "ND93" desk, designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1955 and produced by Søren Willadsen in Denmark, is made of oak. It features four front drawers set into the band with visible interlocking workmanship, a testament to the artisanal quality of Danish production at the time. The design fully reflects the sensibility of Ditzel, one of the most innovative figures in Scandinavian design, capable of combining functionality and formal research with great balance. The light proportions and slender structure hark back to the organic language of 1950s Nordic modernism, in which woodwork became a central expressive element.
