Early 19th century Swedish single door armoire crafted in oak. The cabinet features carved panels and canted sides embellished with floral carving, leaves, and additional decorative detail.
The piece has been given a newer white painted finish, distressed and rubbed through to reveal natural wood beneath. It rests on black front bun feet, creating contrast at the base.
The original key and lock still function. The interior opens to reveal two shelves with deeper storage below.
Age-related separation of planks is visible along the back. Typical scratches, nicks, and cracks are present throughout the body but do not impact function.
The armoire has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use.
