Standing almost 130 cm tall, this large 19th-century Italian floor scale is crafted with an inverted Corinthian capital carved with foliate motifs, sculpted with acanthus leaves and lacquered, an iron arm, and original circular metal plates, bearing Italian government hallmarks.
Each plate is engraved with the maximum capacity of FOUR KG.
The scale still shows traces of red lacquer and rests on a carved base, a quadrangular inverted Corinthian capital, decorated in two tones, one darker.
This antique scale is monumental and would be the ideal complement to a law firm. It is a very rare and evocative 19th-century artifact, in working order, and can lend an original Italian flair to your decor.
Due to its large size, it is a decorative element that can be placed either on the floor or on a table.
