It had a cast iron machine leg with … Read more This industrial-style table was assembled from three parts by a skilled craftsman. It had a cast iron machine leg with a Viennese mark. Perhaps it was left over from the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and an old grain grinder wheel was mounted on it. The glass top was placed on this metal base, so that the supports had to be made to be stable. There is a very minimal joint gap between the cast iron leg and the circular cast iron, but this is unfortunately necessary for disassembly. If they are put together permanently, the very small gap can be filled with a stronger glue or other material. But it is still functional and usable. See less
