Art deco styled mid-century cylindrical candleholders for tea lights or block/church candles. Fashioned from slaps/cuts of solid granite from the mines of Sulitjelma in the Norwegian region - Laponia. Made by Saulo / Sulitjelma Stein og Metall in Norway during the 1960s. A stylish Norwegian set made of beautifully polished natural stone and brass The polished stone is ore from Sulitjelma. Much of this ore comes from the Gieken-Charlotta mine which is dominated by quartz, muscovite, pyrite and a small amount of chalcopyrite. These minerals are therefore visible in the stone-panels making each of them unique and highly decorative.
Measurements: H: 15/12/9 cm, Diameter: 5 cm (top).
