This large jug-shaped floor vase in embossed copper was hand-crafted in Italy during the 1950s.
Egidio Casagrande created high-quality brass and copper objects inspired by ancient vessels. The artist also created sculptures for public places in Italy and designed film props for Hollywood film productions during the 1950s and 1960s like Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments and The Fall of the Roman Empire. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
