This early 18th century elegant painting table, or pingtou'an, is crafted from solid elm wood, assembled using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. The rectangular top features a flush-surface panel set within a wide frame, showcasing a naturally aged finish. Characteristic of high-period Qing design, it incorporates stylized cloud-form spandrels and rounded recessed legs joined by double side stretchers.
