A 1980s acrylic on paper diptych painting, titled "Savannah," by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This diptych depicts a savannah landscape scene in shades of orange, yellow, and green. Unframed, each panel is signed to their lower right.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
