A 1989 acrylic on paper diptych painting, titled "Wildflower Mountain," by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This diptych features an abstract landscape with clear blue skies, mountains, and fields of wildflowers. Unframed, the panels are signed to the lower right and lower left, and titled and dated to the verso
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
