Pair of framed hand colored lithograph prints depicting two of Robert Ronald McIan's (1803-1856) illustrations from the series "The Clans of the Scottish Highlands", originally published in London in 1845 by Ackerman and Co. Prints are framed in a beautiful burlwood frames with olive green mats and brown leather trim detail.
Part of a larger series of 72 illustrations by McIan that helped romanticize and preserve the visual history of Scottish clan culture during the Victorian era.
