Constructed over a grass foundation with tightly wrapped yucca fibers, the basket is accented with dark devil’s claw forming a repeating coyote-track motif along the walls.

The base reveals a traditional oval start, an indicator of hand construction consistent with regional weaving practices. With an approximate stitch count of thirteen per inch, the weave reflects solid craftsmanship and functional durability.
