If, on the other hand, you're willing to stare down a couple of dents and such, then climb aboard.!

This very high quality shaker (heavy, overall good condition) came to me with a problem: the top (very top) was frozen in place. Some clever fellow thought it could be dislodged by putting a nail (or something else with a sharp point) through the holes in the strainer and pound it back out. WRONG!! They tried about six times, so there are six little pimples in that small top piece, which I figured out how to dislodge without further damaging it.

So that's the first thing you have to live with. Second, there's a little dent in that top piece, on the side and easily visible in the last photo. Just below it, in the main cap, there's a dent about an inch long. I've tried to take it out but that's the best I can do.

Otherwise, the shaker's in decent condition and certainly fully utilitarian! Yes, there are some "minor disturbances" in the main body, but to my way of thinking they are minimal.

It's a great piece of barware at a great price!! I can't say much about the age except that it's not born yesterday, it's too high quality for that!
