Beautiful pair of vintage Japanese porcelain trinket boxes from Shibata. These delicate pieces feature vibrant hand-painted floral designs accented with elegant 24K gold-leaf trim.
Heart-Shaped Box: Features a classic chrysanthemum and floral bouquet design. Stamped "Shibata Japan" on the bottom
Hexagonal Box: Features a stunning Peacock and Peony motif, a signature Shibata design. Stamped "Shibata Japan" on the bottom.
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with only a tiny chip on one bottom (last photo), an no cracks, or crazing. The gold trim is bright and intact. Perfect for a collector of Japanese porcelain or as a vanity accent for jewelry and small keepsakes.
