A whimsical pair of American Art Deco Modern cocktail stick holders by the iconic maker Napier Co. in the United States, circa 1935.
Featuring a stylized silhouette of a swan with a convex undulating base; circular foot, cylindrical stem; a domed and perforated body; as well as a sinuously curved neck- all in lustrous polished chrome and patinated chrome. The one swan's head is represented by a sphere of carnelian hued Bakelite. Both are signed Napier.
The perforations in the body of the swan are perfect for holding cocktail picks with pierced olives. We've also seen these decorative pieces of functional art used as a mixed drink strainer and toothpick stand.

6" High, 4.5" Wide, 3.25" Deep
