Tom Christian Krøjer Olsen (1942–2015) was a Danish visual artist, educated at the Experimental Art School in Copenhagen and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm (1967). He debuted at the Artists’ Autumn Exhibition in 1962 and in the 1960s worked experimentally with video, film, telecommunications, and happenings, notably with Jens Jørgen Thorsen at Drakabygget in Sweden. Associated with the Bauhaus Situationist movement and the Eks-Skole, Krøjer was inspired by Fluxus and American Pop Art. His imagery is marked by strong colors, humor, imaginative figures, and flatness. In 1971, he received the Danish Arts Foundation’s three-year grant, and in 1983, he became a member of the artists’ association Grønningen.
