Smiechowska trained in Kraków and Paris, where she studied with the legendary French printmaker Jacques Villon; her work is held in the permanent collections of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec and the Portland Museum of Art, among others. "La Visite" showcases the rich tonal range and atmospheric texture that made her prints sought after on the American and European secondary markets. Sheet size: 29.5" × 22".
