Number 29 of a total output of 195. Serigraphy is a silk screen process that yields finite detail, rich colors, and intricate surface textures considered to most closely replicate original paintings. This piece is currently framed for safekeeping in a black wood frame behind a white beveled card stock mat. Includes glass (currently hidden under the work).. Hand-signed by the artist. Hand numbered on back. Comes with a letter of authenticity from the Gol Art Gallery and Publishing Company.

Sergey Ivanovich Smirnov (1953-2006) was a Russian artist. After a career as a graphic designer he focused on painting. Subsequently becoming a favorite of leading Kremlin politicians such as Boris Yeltsin, Viktor Chermoydin, Evegny Shapshinko, and many others worldwide. From 2001 - 2006 he published and exhibited a series of limited edition serigraphs exclusively with Fingerhut Group Publishers. Sadly, he died of a sudden heart attack while on his way to a solo exhibition at their gallery in Los Angeles..

This work was originally published by the Fingerhut Group Publishers Ltd. A Laguna, California based art group that issued a range of limited edition serigraphs by famous artists from 1976 through 2025. Owned by members of the Fingerhut family and NOT associated in any way with their former mass market - direct-to-consumer business which they sold in 1979.

The serigraph itself is In excellent original condition with no folds, creases, scrapes, cracks, marks, stains, or ink loss of note. The frame and mat appear to be recent with no marks, dings, or visible issues. See less
