Baroque / Rococo lithograph print titled The Gallant Shepherd (French: Le Pasteur Galant) after François Boucher, originally painted around 1740–1745. Features a pastoral courting scene with a shepherd and shepherdess in a garden landscape with sheep and a mischievous spying boy. Gold gesso wood frame.
François Boucher (1703–1770), a prominent French Rococo painter. The artwork is famously located in the Hôtel de Soubise in Paris, part of the French National Archives.
