Its octagonal cut is an unusual and beautiful shape for a diamond that is not often seen. The stone has a lovely, pale, fancy yellow hue that is complemented by the warmth of the 18k gold bezel that holds it. The bezel frames the face of the diamond and is form fitting as it drops down around the rest of the stone, opening up again at the back of the bezel to reveal more of the diamond’s stunning facets. The bezel has an integrated bail that balances the pendant nicely and attaches to a delicate 18” 14k gold chain.

The natural antique diamond is 1.01 carats and measures 6.2 x 5.75 x 3.75 mm. It is SI2 in clarity and has a pale fancy yellow hue.

The pendant measures 1/4” x 7/16”. The chain is 18” long with a nice lobster clasp. The piece weighs 2.8 grams. The chain is marked as 14k gold and Italy; the pendant acid tests as 18k. See less
