Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this fine quality PAIR of … Read more Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this fine quality PAIR of Designer Vintage 20th C Directoire Style Wood & Bronze Gueridon End / Side Tables by Theodore Alexander. Two level stands, entire construction is made of bronze, with two oval wooden shelves (appearing to be burl walnut). Finest quality of the second half of 20th century craftsmanship, done in Neoclassical Directoire style, as Theodore Alexander often did. Oval shape, bottom level is open on front side, while the other three feature bronze "X" form walls. Top of the each straight leg carries a large acorn finial, and the bottoms are finished off with rolling castor wheels. They can be used by the bed side as night stands or by the sofa, or in any corner as a planters or art carrying pedestals. Tables are in good condition, minimal age / use wear, all distress on finish is by design for aged appearance (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere, in any room at 26" tall to top of finials and 24" to top wood surface, 18" widest point and they are 12" deep front to back. This eye candy is great for any home or office, any antique or mid-century modern setting! See less
