The front is dominated by an impressive veneer of fine walnut, applied symmetrically, giving the chest a particularly harmonious appearance. The sides of this refined piece of furniture are adorned with stylish full columns and Corinthian columns with ornate brass capitals and magnificent brass fittings – typical features of the Empire style that underscore elegance and prestige. The chest rests on column feet, which provide it with graceful stability. The top is also finished with high-quality walnut veneer and is capped by a finely crafted edge profile.
