This rare Bradley and Hubbard hurricane lamp from the 1880s has been electrified and features an original hobnail hand blown ruffled top shade and wick riser knob.
Stamped with “patent applied for,” it indicates this is an early version made while B&H was still refining its design techniques for oil lamps. The combination of the hobnail shade and hurricane style appears original, and the transitional patent mark suggests it was produced while the company was securing legal rights to its latest design, dating it to roughly 1880–1895.
