On offer is a modern marble sculpture by American sculptor Easton. Titled "Eye of the Storm,” this abstract piece by the artist (also known as Q.T. Easton) was created in 2012. Hand-carved from Portuguese Marble, it features fluid curves and a central circular motif on a black base of Indian granite.
A self-taught sculptor active since 1976, Easton works instinctively with marble and alabaster, focusing on simplified forms influenced by his time in Carrara, Italy. He prefers Italian and Portuguese marbles for their historical value and durability, aiming to express nature's harmony through abstraction.
Signature: Incised under both the sculpture (photo #8) and its separate base (photo #11).
