It is almost … Read more Lovely dusky colors make up this floral still life, signed and dated 1964 by the artist, Kibb. It is almost an impressionistic still life view of a bowl of flowers with a dappled background, with loose brush strokes and blocks of color. The artist created a ton of rich texture with the paint strokes. There is a lot of crackling now, due to age. The painting is in a delightful carved wood frame (possibly antique) with a light gilt wash over it.

See condition notes. While it shows age and wear, we just love the effect it has, and feel it all just adds to the character of this delightful piece.
