Executed in painted rattan over a bentwood frame, the chair features a distinctive architectural silhouette with a gently peaked backrest and a central geometric aperture. The structured composition, use of repeated linear elements, and emphasis on symmetry reflect the refined design principles of the Vienna Secession, where geometry and craftsmanship replaced historicist ornament.

The design aligns with the progressive aesthetic developed around the Wiener Werkstätte, particularly in the work of Josef Hoffmann and his circle—including Koloman Moser, Otto Prutscher, and Josef Zotti—who collaborated with Prag-Rudniker in the early 20th century.
