Executed in layered crystal, the piece features a vibrant ruby overlay carefully cut back to reveal the luminous vaseline (uranium) glass beneath. The cameo-etched decoration displays finely detailed naturalistic leaves in frosted relief, characteristic of the organic design language of the Art Nouveau movement.

The technical precision of the cutting, the depth of the overlay, and the balanced proportions all point to a high level of craftsmanship typical of early Belgian crystal production.

Unmarked, but consistent in quality, technique, and design with documented examples attributed to Val Saint Lambert.

Under UV light, the vaseline glass exhibits a characteristic green fluorescence. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
